Contact
How to reach the publisher, and where to send enquiries that belong to a journal.
Which address to use
Enquiries about a specific manuscript — its status, a decision, proofs, or a correction — should go to that journal's editorial office rather than to us. Each journal lists its contact address on its own site, and going direct is considerably faster.
Write to the publisher for anything that spans the portfolio: permissions and licensing, indexing and metadata, institutional or society partnerships, technical problems with a site, or reports of publishing misconduct.
Reporting a problem with a published article
If you believe a published article contains an error, or you have a concern about its integrity, tell us and be specific about the article and the problem. We will pass it to the journal's editor and follow the process set out in our publication ethics statement.
We take such reports seriously regardless of who raises them, and we do not require you to identify yourself publicly.
Have a detailed enquiry?
For a publishing, indexing or partnership enquiry — with journal, ISSN or volume/issue details — use our enquiry form on the Published Journals page.
